Jan. 16, 2025 (SANTA MARIA, Calif.) – Santa Maria Valley’s Restaurant Month shines the spotlight on the region’s distinct culinary culture. Taking place now through Feb. 9, Dine Out Santa Maria Style and the Craft Cocktail Contest are offering some of Santa Maria Valley’s finest food for less. In a region famous for Santa Maria Style barbecue, Restaurant Month gives visitors the opportunity to explore the destination’s other notable cuisines.
Some of Santa Maria Valley’s most iconic restaurants have specials and craft cocktails only available during this month-long event. Dine Out Santa Maria Style offers something for every palette, from Huckleberry’s red velvet pumpkin platter to Cool Hand Luke’s bacon jam burger. Other participating restaurants include A Mi Manera Mexican Cuisine, Capuno’s Lutong Bahay, Maya Mexican Restaurant and more.
Back for its sixth year, the highly popular Craft Cocktail Contest is a fantastic way to explore Santa Maria Valley’s thriving bar and brewery scene. Participating establishments create flavorful and fun cocktails, and at the end of the month, patrons help crown a winner. Competitors in this year’s contest include Cielito Lindo Mexican Grill, Cool Hand Luke’s, Huckleberry’s, Maya Mexican Restaurant and Naughty Oak Brewing Co.
Visitors participating in the Restaurant Month festivities are encouraged to post photos and use #SMVDineOut for a chance to be featured on Santa Maria Valley’s Instagram. Votes for the People’s Choice Winner of the Craft Cocktail Contest will be counted from posts using the hashtag #SMVCraftCocktail.
