Having worked with the Chamber for 19 years, Jennifer has been instrumental in leading Santa Maria Valley’s tourism initiatives. She was a driving force behind the formation of the Tourism Marketing District (TMD) and its renewal in 2020, ensuring long-term investment in promoting the area as a prime travel destination. She also spearheaded impactful projects, including the nationally and internationally recognized Stimulus Promotion, which generated widespread attention including CNN and NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt, and the development of the Santa Maria Valley Wine Trolley, enhancing visitor engagement with the region’s acclaimed wineries.

In her current role, Jennifer oversees the Chamber’s strategic marketing and communications efforts spanning all programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission to support local businesses and foster economic vitality. She manages branding, public relations, digital outreach, and tourism initiatives to elevate the Chamber’s impact and enhance the Santa Maria Valley’s visibility as a thriving destination for both businesses and visitors.

Beyond her work with the Chamber, Jennifer is an active leader in the tourism and economic development sectors. She serves on the boards of the Guadalupe Dunes Center and the Central Coast Tourism Council and is a member of CalTravel Association, Visit California, and the California Society of Association Executives to name a few. Additionally, she is a 2025 graduate of the Western Association of Chamber Executives, further demonstrating her commitment to professional development and industry leadership.
