Santa Maria Valley Chamber Introduces Two New Members to the Team

[SANTA MARIA, CA. April 15, 2024] - The Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce welcomes two new members to the team: Hispanic Business Development & Services Representative Efrain Salazar-Colores and Communications Coordinator Romina Montemurro.

Salazar-Colores, proudly born and raised in Santa Maria, graduated in 2023 with a marketing degree from California State University, Long Beach.

As Hispanic Business Development & Services Representative, he is dedicated to elevating the Santa Maria Valley Chamber's involvement with Hispanic-owned businesses. He looks to create and nurture significant relationships and facilitate connections that enrich the varied business landscape.

“I’m eager to use my skills to help contribute to Santa Maria’s success and look forward to working with the community,” Salazar-Colores said.

Montemurro, raised on the Central Coast, graduated in 2024 with a degree in journalism and focus in public relations from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

As Communications Coordinator, she will enhance communication strategies and ensure consistent messaging across various channels while collaborating closely with internal and external teams to develop and implement communication plans that align with Chamber goals and values.

“I look forward to helping our wonderful local community embrace opportunities for growth,” Montemurro said.
