Angels Foster Care protects abused, neglected and abandoned infants and toddlers, nurtures them in one loving home until adoption or reunification, and ensures that they reach their maximum development potential.
Angels Foster Care addresses the shortage of high-quality resource homes for young children in Santa Barbara County by recruiting, training, and supporting exceptional resource families who can provide supportive, healthy homes for infants and young children. We recruit Angels family throughout Santa Barbara County as well as Southern SLO County.
With the support of committed volunteers and donors, the agency has positively impacted the lives of 309 infants and toddlers. Additionally, 149 of these children have been adopted by their Angels parents, 55 children were reunified with their parents, and 92 children were placed in an extended family home. Many of the children who were not adopted by Angels parents, or safely reunified with their parents, are being raised by their grandparents or other relatives.
